| GO Etiquette |
- At the beginning of the game, if black decides to play a move in the corner, this move will be played in the upper right corner.
- It is prefered (protocol) that the player with white should stay with his back to the wall facing the room door.
- The game will be played with proper handicap and the stronger player decides the change of handicap.
- Greet your opponent at the beginning and after the game.
- Be serious, do not talk or make noise during the game.
- Do not play with your stones during the game.
- Mind how you place a stone on the board so as to not move the other stones.
- Resign if losing the game is obvious.
- If you play until the last move, count the points regardles of the difference.
- After finishing the game, gather your own stones off the board.
- Do not comment about the game, when facing a stronger player, only if you are asked to do so.
- Do not ask for another game from a stronger player; let him decide if he wants to play again or not.
- Respect the spirit of the game in your posture, gestures and language.
